Photogonia approached Inter-Dev in mid 2006 after having decided that it was time to begin optimizing the site and receiving better rankings in major search engines.
Till then, Photogonia had almost no traffic from search engines and their main efforts were placed in Adwords campaign.
Inter-Dev worked with Photogonia as our main goal was clear- get Photogonia in top positions in all major keyword phrases at the most important organic engines- Google, Yahoo & Live (back then -MSN). Our main focus was targeting the general search terms, which have the highest competition in the industry, but also bring the highest amount of visitors from the US and the UK.
We analized the data from the Adwords campaign and found those keywords that worked best for Photogonia. We worked on the site’s code for the first month, making sure the code and content are well written and optimized, then we turned over to build Photogonia’s link popularity and credibility, which back then was almost zero.
Within a few months, the site started geting high rankings in all 3 major search engines and after 10 months we reached top positions in all search engines for almost every general important keyword we had targeted.
Ever since, Photogonia has been leading in search results over their competition and needless to say that traffic converted to sales- and BIG ones.
